Product information "Nissan Unterlegscheibe"

Most Nissan 350Z models experience a clicking or clacking noise at the rear axle during load changes. This issue is typically caused by a loosened axle shaft castle nut. The clicking can temporarily be resolved by greasing the axle shaft and retightening the castle nut to the vehicle-specific torque specification. However, this fix generally lasts only 1–2 years before the noise returns. Pro Tip: A permanent solution is to replace the original castle nut with the Kawasaki castle nut (part number 92210-0280). For this modification, three washers per side (instead of the factory single washer) are required. This minimizes the play between the washer and the castle nut, while simultaneously increasing the clamping pressure on the nut, effectively preventing it from loosening over time. This adjustment is a cost-effective and long-term fix for an otherwise recurring issue. Ensure proper installation and torque specifications for optimal results.
